The Princess becomes a Diva

Our daughter turned 9 years old last weekend. To celebrate, she had 11 other girls over for the night. The evening was filled with Just Dance 2, pizza, fashion shows, manicures and lots of giggling. They crashed finally around 2:30 a.m. and I was glad for a few hours of sleep on the couch before getting up around 7ish to fix turn-overs for breakfast.
The next weekend was the dance team clinic so we scheduled a family dinner afterwards. Because of sickness, things didn't go as planned, but we made the best of it.

Now our little Princess is half-way to 18. How scary is that? If the next nine years go by as fast as the last nine have, I'm in trouble. How will I ever be ready? She is more grown-up by the day and I am seeing previews of the teenage years, Lord help us! Ha!
Happy Birthday to our Princess Diva! What a big girl you are these days. No matter how old you are, you'll always be our sweet Baby Girl. We love you!
